Voidea Privacy Policy

Voidea ("we", "us", or "our") is operated by New Retail International Pte Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Voidea mobile application ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We use this solely for authentication and do not share it with third parties.

1.2 Voice Recordings & Transcripts

When you use Voidea, your voice recordings are uploaded to our servers for transcription (using OpenAI Whisper) and AI processing (using OpenAI GPT). The audio files are deleted from our servers immediately after processing. Transcripts and AI-generated responses are returned to your device and stored locally in your app's session history.

1.3 Shared Content & URL Extraction

When you share a URL or text to Voidea from another app, the App may extract the text content of that URL using a third-party content extraction service (Jina Reader). This extracted text is used only as context for your current conversation and is not stored on our servers. The URL you share is sent to the extraction service to retrieve its content.

1.4 Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized usage data to improve the App, including: session start/end events, number of conversation turns, response latency metrics, feature interactions (e.g., copy, feedback buttons), and onboarding completion. This data does not contain your voice content, transcripts, or personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate your identity and provide access to the App
  • Transcribe your voice recordings and generate AI responses
  • Improve App performance and user experience through analytics
  • Diagnose technical issues and monitor service health

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

4. Data Storage & Security

Your conversation history is stored locally on your device. Voice recordings are transmitted over HTTPS and deleted from our servers immediately after processing. Analytics data is stored on our servers with no personally identifiable information. We use industry-standard encryption for all data in transit.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Voice recordings: deleted immediately after transcription. Local session history: stored on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall. Analytics data: retained for up to 12 months, then automatically purged. You may request deletion of any data associated with your account by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of analytics collection
  • Withdraw consent and delete your account

7. Children's Privacy

Voidea is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

4. 数据存储与安全

您的对话历史存储在您的设备本地。语音录音通过 HTTPS 传输，处理完成后立即从服务器删除。分析数据存储在我们的服务器上，不包含任何个人身份信息。我们对所有传输中的数据使用行业标准加密。

5. 数据保留与删除

语音录音：转写完成后立即删除。本地会话历史：存储在您的设备上，直到您清除应用数据或卸载。分析数据：保留最多 12 个月，之后自动清除。您可以联系我们请求删除与您账户相关的任何数据。

6. 您的权利

您有权：

  • 访问您的个人数据
  • 请求删除您的数据
  • 退出分析数据收集
  • 撤回授权并删除您的账户

7. 儿童隐私

Voidea 不面向 13 岁以下的儿童。我们不会故意收集儿童的个人信息。如果您认为有儿童向我们提供了个人数据，请联系我们，我们将予以删除。

8. 政策变更
